TESTING THE SENSIBILITIES of 3D PRINTER

 

3D Printers are becoming a norm to fabricate. With initial offerings of (limited) 3D Printers, we tested the possibilities of merging printers, laser-cutters and LEDs. Hopper's paintings were main inspiration.

호퍼의 그림에서의 빛은 이상하게도 공기를 채우고 있는 느낌이 없다고 했다.

대신 그의 빛은 벽이나 물건에 달라붙어 있는 것 같다.

LED의 빛도 그렇다. 이제까지의 빛과는 다른 투명성, 어려움이 있다. 다이아몬드가 빛을 가진다면 광채가 있겠지만, LED는 그런 황홀함도 없다. 매우 차가우며 호퍼의 그림속에 있는 빛과 아주 유사한 부분이 있는 것이다.
